There we shared open air and ample space with Canadian loons, black bears, aphids, ants, forest fires, and rugged, spiritually inclined individualists who were inspired by a culture as old as history. There we took in soul-stirring, sweeping life lessons that were suited for any time, place, and circumstance. And there we got a glimpse of harmony. We have come to love this pristine valley and its gifts of kindness and earth-friendly living. Weaving the Bhagavad-Gita's age-old wisdom with contemporary concerns, this book explores an enduring basis for personal, ecological, and social happiness and harmony.
