The by-laws on the first pages of this record book state that the object of this club: "...shall be to continue the hearty good will and neighborly sociability and a cooperative interest in the welfare of our community." This group began in 1916 as the Young's River Meadows Improvement Club, and then the Young's River Serving Club. They would often contribute money to a 4-H scholarship, as well as nursing homes and mental institutions. They also made sure that high school graduates, marriages, and funerals related to members were recorded and gifted. Members are listed above. Apologies if any were missed.
