The book contains the experiences of two American journalists working for Buenos Aires Herald who lived in Argentina from 1941-1946. These years saw a succession of five presidents--Roberto M. Ortiz, Ramón S. Castillo, General Arturo Rawson, General Pedro Pablo Ramírez and General Edelmiro J. Farrell. The authors lived through military coups and revolution, social upheval, and the rise Juan Domingo Perón. The authors share experiences of life and culture in Argentina and record a variety of opinions from Argentine people.
