It's an attractive, interesting case for any detective. a business man turns up dead in a satin-lined room, a love den. Fleshy paintings adorn the walls and women's slippers line the closet. For Nero Wolfe, the best feature is that the cops haven't come to the scene yet, and he's got a jump on solving the crime. Just when he's about to dive in, new clients -- too many -- start coming out of the walls. That's a good problem to have, unless one of the clients is a killer.
