About
This book collects the papers presented at the conference "Modeling in Computer Graphics" held in Genova, Italy, at the end of June 1993. The conference was promoted by IFIP TC5 WG 5.10 and organized by the Institute for Applied Mathematics of the C.N.R. The contributions cover a variety of topics at an advanced level, organized into parts dealing with Mathematical Modeling, Procedural Modeling, Integration of Models, Creative Use, Animation, Rendering and Vision. The material presented in this book should be of interest not only to researchers actually involved in the design of modeling systems, but also to system developers and practitioners who need qualitative knowledge on recent advances and new concepts in this field.
