This is the history of three brothers and one sister moving to Harrison County Missouri from Green County Ohio in 1850. They were John Mills Courter...Samuel M. Courter...Dewitt Clinton Courter (the vocal point of this book.) They were probably the children of Samuel E. Courter and Alice (Mendenhall) Courter. There has been added other Courter names not linked to this family. There are many photos, and copies of legal documents plus a litte history of the the formation of the state off Missouri.
