About
Leon Obermayer (1886-1984), son of Hermann Obermayer (1829-1897) and Veronika Lehmann (1851-1928), was born in Scotia, Illinois. He married Julia Sinsheimer (1900-1996), daughter of Joseph Sinsheimer (1869-1950) and Helmina Oberndoerfer (1869-1916). They had three children. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Germany, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Israel.
