Consists of records of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including its consulates and embassies, which were captured by the Germans in 1939 and subsequently housed after 1945 in the U.S. Department of State's Record Group 59 until 1991 when, after being microfilmed at the National Archives, they were returned to the Polish government.
