About
A collection of 63 studies on Hellenistic poetry published by Enrico Livrea over the last two decades. The studies deal not only with Callimachus, Apollonius of Rhodes, and Theocritus, but also with other Hellenistic authors such as Posidippus of Pella, Cercidas of Megalopolis, Euphorion of Chalcis, and various epigrammists of the Palatine Anthology. The main focus is on poetry of the late antique period. Studies in this collection include a reconstruction of Dorotheus' Vision, a revaluation of the poetry of the empress Eudocia, an analysis of references to Nonnus in the papyri of Pamprepius of Panopolis, and many others.
