Power from the waves

Wave energy offers the prospect of electricity from a non-polluting, endlessly renewable source which could provide more than 20 per cent of the UK'S electricity demand by the year 2025. Yet little is known by the general, concerned public about how the waves can answer many of our needs, and about what has already been achieved by engineers and scientists. No information has been available to answer the objections that have been raised, and in particular the absurd suggestion that a fuel which arrives free on our shores is too expensive to capture and process.
