The Life of John Taylor

John Taylor, third president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints, espoused the work of the Lord in the last days because he had the light of truth burning within him when it was first made known to him. He lived a fearless, noble and God-like life—let those who still live seek to emulate his noble example. President Taylor was said to have been a friend to himself, a friend to his family, a friend to this people and a friend to God. He was the champion of human rights, the champion of liberty, truth and freedom.
