This is the autobiography of Mrs Awolowo, the widow of the multi-faceted politician and political philosopher Obafemi Awolowo. It is simultaneously a quasi biography of him. The story charts the turbulent political life of the couple including Awolowo's resignation from the Gowon administration, his experiences of being rigged out of the 1978 and 1983 elections, his academic work and their private and family lives.
