About
In this compilation zine, Cindy and friends share art and writing on the speed and quality of urban life, with a focus on New York City. Hand-drawn illustrations, photos, and computer art accompany handwritten and word processed short stories, poems, and personal commentaries. There is an exquisite corpse, a page of theoretical transportation lines, writing on grief and loneliness, photos of prostate cancer cells, and a photo series of urban decay in Spreepark Plänterwald, an abandoned amusement park located in the former East Berlin. The full-color zine is sewn-bound with yellow thread on a sewing machine, and the front and back covers are coloring pages.
