Pathe Sow tells us the story of Senegal from antiquity to the end of the nineteenth century. He retraces the events that took place centuries ago and endeavors to inform especially neoliterates about the social, economic, and political conditions in the various kingdoms (Jolof, Kajor, Waalo, etc.) that came to be part of Senegal.
