About
This book contains genealogy listings of descendants of Franz Christian Anton von Mylius, considered the forefather of the Mylius zu Schleis family. He was trained as a military officer and came to Norway from Denmark in 1789. The book contains color images of the Mylius family crest and maps, as well as black and white photographs. Known descendants worldwide as of 1993 are listed. Most live in Norway and the United States, especially in the Midwest. There is an every-name index. Portions are in English, but the majority of the book is in Norwegian. A separate paperback supplement contains some additional sections of the book, translated into English. An update is planned by the Norwegian authors in 2013.
