This report contains statistics on registration of blind persons in MRA states, It presents detailed data for registrations in 1967, summary data by year for registrations in 1962-1967, and total population of each MRA state in 1967. Model Reporting Area members in 1966: Connecticut, Georgia, Kansas, Louisiana, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, and Virginia. Modeling reporting through the cooperation of the Biometrics Branch of the National Institute of Neurological Disease and Blindness, National Society for the Prevention of Blindness, the Foundation for the Blind, and the Division of Chronic Diseases of the Public Health Service.
