Der litauische Fotograf und Bernsteinsammler Kazimieras Mizgiris (*1950) kennt die Dünenformationen der Kurischen Nehrung wie kaum ein anderer. Über Jahrzehnte hinweg besucht er früh am Morgen mit seiner Kamera -- vorwiegend im Frühling und Herbst -- die direkt vor seiner Haustür in Nida liegenden Wanderdünen der 'Baltischen Sahara.'
