About
This comp zine, edited by a 1.5 generation Chinese- and Vietnamese-Canadian, centers on definitions of and issues within feminism, and is comprised of articles, poems, comics, prose, quotations, definitions, news excerpts, statistics, photographs, and illustrations. Contributions address issues of sexuality/queer identity, stereotypes about feminism, women and athletics, violence against women, men's viewpoints on feminism, sexual assault, women and music/women in the punk scene, women's studies programs, sex education, lesbians, the men's liberation movement, anti-feminists, race and feminism, interracial relationships, and the exoticizing of Asian women. The zine includes definitions for various branches of feminism and a list of zines written by the contributors. Helen also reproduces a message board discussion between Lauren Jade Martin, Patti Kim, and others.
