Weinigen weten, dat Anton Heyboer in Drenthe besloot om kunstenaar te worden. De tentoonstelling bij zijn 15-jarig overlijden is mede om die reden in het Noordoosten van Nederland. Museum Nienoord koos vooral voor vroeg werk uit zijn nalatenschap voor een unieke expositie. Bij de tentoonstelling is een rijk geïllustreerd boek verschenen over het werk van Heyboer, met mooie verhalen en foto's. Exhibition: Museum Nienoord, Leek, The Netherlands (02.06.-04.10.2020).
