About
The book covers the ten years since the creation of the PIPA Institute (2009). PIPA Prize is an initiative of PIPA Institute. It was created in 2010 to be the most prominent Brazilian prize in the Visual Arts. From 2010 to 2018, PIPA had a partnership with MAM-Rio. The institute manages and coordinates the PIPA prize, a website that has been working as a research platform and a collection of contemporary art, which since the arrival of Luiz Camillo Osorio at the curatorship of the Institute has gained greater impetus. In 2016, Luiz Camillo Osorio became the Curator of the Institute, enhancing the process of commissioning and acquisitions. On March of 2018, the Institute started showing artworks from the Instituteœs permanent collection at Villa Aymoré in Rio de Janeiro, opening its collection to the public for the first time.
