It describes the author´s experience in the Somoza regime of Nicaragua, where he was appointed president of the republic for 43 hours before fleeing for exile. Very interesting book, describes Jimmy Carter´s role in the fall of Somoza, as well as the conspiracy of neighboring countries as Costa Rica and Panama to help the sandinistas and the role of the church, universities, private sector in the rise to power of the marxist leadership in 1979.
