La subsistance du clergé séculier en Centrafrique

"Selon le Code de droit canonique la subsistance cu clergé est prévue au canon 281: rémunération qui permet de subvenir aux besoins et assistance sociale en cas de maladie, d'invalidité ou de vieilesse. Mais comment pourvoir à ces exigences dans la jeune Église d'un pays en guerre civile et dont la pauvreté est structurelle? Si la responsabilité relève essentiellement de l'autorité, celle-ci a besoin de l'implication des clercs eux-mêmes en vue d'une correcte administration des biens ecclésiasistiques. La présene étude propose des mesures à prendre pour rendre possible l'auto-prise en charge des prêtres en Centrafrique, à commencer par les modalités d'une gestion rigoureuse et transparente des maigres ressources et la vigilance accrue des évêques diocésains"--Back cover According to the Code of Canon Law, subsistence and clergy are provided for in Canon 281: remuneration for the provision of social assistance and assistance in case of sickness, invalidity or old age. But how to provide for these demands in the young Church of a country in civil war and whose poverty is structural? If the responsibility is essentially the responsibility of the authority, it needs the involvement of the clerics themselves for the proper administration of ecclesiastical property.
