My London autumn

This British memoir (My London Autumn) by an American journalist (David J. Marcou) covers his time in the Missouri-London Reporting Program, during Autumn 1981. It was from that time that Marcou would publish his reports about 50 IRA relatives' dramatic meeting with the Catholic Cardinal of England, Basil Hume; about Francois Abou Salem, director of the only Palestinian professional theatre troupe then (El-Hakawati); about the Camden Jazz Festival; about the British Modern-Mannerist painter Erica Daborn; about the Almeida Theatre Company; about a pain relief conference; about a Paralympic Champion (Rudi Christopher); and about Picture Post legends Bert Hardy and James Cameron (DJM's 1981 photo-portriat of Mr. Hardy & dogs is in the Permanent Collection of the British National Portrait Gallery).
