This book was the first color guide book of birds in Peru. It was made to promote birdwatching, the bird pictures were in its majority from Vireo (with permission). It describes the most common birds that one can found in the city parks, the countryside, wetlands and marine shores of Lima. Although made for the general public, the descriptions were made with scientific inquiry.
