Roadside geology of Utah

Geologist mother and daughters have written extensively both together and separately about the deserts and plateaus in the western US. Here they update their road guides to Utah. After a review of basic geology and a survey of great geological events in the state, they explore the Colorado Plateau, the high-country backbone of Utah, and the Great Basic and the Wasatch Front. A final section provides information on parks, monuments, and a recreation area.
