About
This monograph discusses a method for calculating transient and steady states in electrical machines. This new method takes into account all machine peculiarities, including saturation in iron, slotting, non-sinusoidal distribution of windings, etc. The purpose of the book is to give a complete insight into machine behavior at any state. The most important feature of the work is the introduction of a method analysis of nonlinear dynamics that does not require solution of a system of nonlinear algebraic equations at every step of integration of the system of differential equations. Besides this, a very important new result is a three-dimensional representation of the air-gap quantities. The approach to the matter is completely new and developed solely by the author. The reader is given a powerful tool that can help them analyze in detail any kind of electro-mechanical energy converter.
