About
This book is a serious work of fiction dealing with the challenging political history of India that continued to threaten constitutional democracy by series of violent outbursts since 1951 till today that is generally ascribed to radical Marxism, under the names Naxlism ( Maoism). The name Shakuntala of the book is symbolic only having little to do with the mythology associated with name. It is a modern Indian classic in Odia language and literature that had been translated and published in Hindi and its English version is now under print.
