Awakening, epiphany, transformation, enlightenment; such terms indicate a moment when a nascent consciousness erupts into the life of an individual. A Mystic Awakening gives witness to the rebirth of author J.M.E. Callidden and what it implies for mortality and beyond. To that end, he shares extraordinary experiences that have been kept close for many years—events that he calls mystical because they defy simple explanation. A Mystic Awakening is divided into two distinct parts; the first part explores the author’s conscious arousal to mysticism and transformation as a person. To be clear, one ordinary night, everything changed for him and his life took remarkable trajectories into the paranormal. The second part presents his view of the bigger questions confronting us and includes his investigation into how things came to be in our world. A Mystic Awakening does not attempt to create an alternative science, although religion, the occult, and science are discussed in various parts of the narrative for the sake of comparison, reinforcement, and argument. To evoke creative storytelling at its best, the author has included the elements of both a detective story and an accidental spy saga, with a cast of characters that would truly be unbelievable were they not real people.
