Tells the story of a group of young people who open a sandwich factory in Amsterdam. Provides an introduction to the basic concepts of food production, distribution, and consumption by tracing the journey the contents of a sandwich make before it is eaten. The book is designed in two triangular parts to look like two sandwiches on toast. Each part contains the same content but has its own imprint on the front cover. The parts fit together into a square, forming a unified cover.
