About
This is a review and tips book that features the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), and the Sega Master System (SMS) games. It starts out with a history of video games, and describes the changes from early single system games to multiple game systems, and their popularity in TV, magazines and other media. The second chapter describes the differences between the NES and the SMS, and the type of controls and accessories that are available for both. The third chapter reviews games for each system, giving the games 'Story', and offers 'Hints, Tips, and Secrets' for each of these games, 11 NES, and 10 SMS games. In the fourth chapter the author interviews game designers, Bill Kunkel, and Arnie Katz. The fifth chapter describes the controllers for each system, and magazines that are available that review games. The sixth chapter reviews upcoming controllers, systems, and 4 games for the NES, and 9 games for the SMS. The seventh chapter gives addresses of companies that buy and sell used games as well as tips on starting video game clubs. Eighth and last chapter is a quick fact section of questions and answers.
