A book that rescues "the importance of architecture and architects of Guadalajara in the 20th century; a memory of architectural events of this city, which has been the birthplace of notable architects, artists and men of letters..." (HKB Translation) -- Page 10. The author, after reviewing more than 100 works of Mexican professionals and foreigners, published in national and international magazines from 1953 to 1968, chose fifteen architects from Guadalajara and reflected on the characteristic elements of the work of each in subjects such as tradition and innovation, incorporation of handcrafted items, housing, among others.
