About
Su primer libro de poemas es Las montanas del oro, de 1897, con versos medidos y libres, y prosa poetica, en plena eclosion del modernismo. Mas tarde publico Los crepusculos del jardin (1905) y Lunario sentimental (1909), todos influidos por Ruben Dario. Odas seculares (1910), supuso un cambio en su estilo, que exalta las riquezas argentinas inspirado en Virgilio. Su poesia se vuelve intimista y cotidiana en El libro fiel (1912), El libro de los paisajes (1917) y Las horas doradas (1922). Los Poemas solariegos (1927) y el postumo Romances del Rio Seco tienen un estilo mas narrativo.
