A heart-rendering blood-bath

An account of the turbulent post World War II period in Malaya as it affected a community in the state of Perak. Generally the Chinese community were targeted during the Japanese occupation because this community organised the most persistent opposition to the occupation. In the period between the Japanese surrender and re-establishment of British control, both the Chinese and Malay community attacked each other in various parts of the country. This particular account of that period is well researched from documents and accounts of survivors with maps and black and white photographs.
