Ella and Greg are in their late 20s, married, with two children. They're happy enough, but on a rare weekend away by herself, for a friend's hen party, Ella bumps into the first man she ever loved. Considerably older than her, and trapped in a dead marriage, Callum sees Ella as a much needed breath of fresh air in his life, and Ella is entranced to be treated as a woman rather than simply a maker of meals, washer of dishes, and wiper of bottoms.
