Mine

This anthology collects stories about abortion that are intended to “provide a forum for women to tell their stories and to feel supported by other women,” as well as complicate the typical pro-life/pro-choice discussions seen in media. Stories include discussions of surgical or medical abortion, herbal abortificants, menstrual extraction, knowing it wasn't the right time, family pressures, having an abortion in the South, working as a fisherwoman and having an abortion, support people and advocates, and the complicated emotions surrounding the decision to abort. The zine includes art, quotations, reprints from Doris and Xtra Tuff and a bibliography.
