António de Oliveira Salazar, Prime Minister of Portugal from 1932 to 1968 during the dictatorship, never married. His supporters said that "Salazar married the Nation". But historical research has found a different Salazar. Instead the austere, virtuous and chaste man he seemed to be, Salazar had many passions since his youth and lived as a Don Juan breaking many ladie's hearts.
