About
If there is one word to explain this poetry collection, it is life: these are poems about being teased in school, poems about being grounded as a child, even poems about driving a truck. And of course, there are love poems…a lot of love poems. But where there are love poems, you will find break-up and loneliness poems. The book’s title, Tears of a Wanderer, applies to the author. She spent most of her life wandering and running away from problems. But now, she has dried her tears. She knows that there’s no place like home. …As I tell my story I hesitate. I hope you can see past the walls. As I sit and contemplate, The tears of a wanderer fall.
