Paperback booklet with tan covers glued onto the pages which are stapled together on the left edge with four staples underneath the covers. The front cover has come loose from the bottom half of the spine, and is ripped on the upper half of the spine. It has the title "Craftsman Bungalows" in the upper left corner in brown ink on top of green vegetation from a potted tree. In the lower right corner is an illustration, in brown ink, of a house with green accents. In the far upper left corner of the front cover, there is white discoloration from insect damage. The back cover as an advertisement for Yoho & Merritt's new book: "Colonial Homes". All illustrations inside are in black and white, and a few of the pages stick slightly together. 112 pages. **Yoho’s designs seemed to capture the essence of the Craftsman style in a way that few competitors could. While not as polished as Greene and Greene, his work was a lot more refined — and original — than what most builders were offering at the time. His houses were joyfully expressive, particularly when it came to masonry and roof details. His most adventurous designs played up the more exotic origins of the Craftsman aesthetic and at times paid homage to Japanese traditions. Much of his work had a naturalistic, even organic, aspect to it. His designs were all interesting, even the most mundane of them.
