About
A young boy with autism tries to navigate his world, and has great difficulty due to his inability to express his emotions. The adults in his life profess unconditional love, but the boy only feels loved when he is on his best behavior, which doesn’t seem to happen very often. Most of the time, he feels conflicts related to his lack of expressive abilities. One day, the boy is brought to pick out a service animal. He falls in love at first sight with a particular dog, and once trained, the dog becomes an intimate part of his life. The dog loves the boy unconditionally, and strange things begin to happen when the boy feels true love. He begins to express his emotions.
At first, it is his profound love for the dog that he expresses. Gradually, as the boy’s soul becomes renewed with his inseparable new companion, he starts expressing his emotions to others. The world then becomes a happier and more interesting place. A friendship with another boy develops.
