About
In a remote mining location in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, a shy boy grew up battling the odds of adversity and poverty. But God brought a humble pastor, Charles Hart, in an old blue station wagon to this boy's town to take him to a church where he could hear the Gospel. Leslie Ollila, the youngest of eight children, found the warmth of love and fellowship with believers in a local Baptist church. In Ezekiel 22:30, God "sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap," but in Old Testament times Ezekiel sadly records that God "found none." For today's generation, God found a man among them in the mining location called Gratiot Location, and God has used him to be one of the greatest leaders in Christian circles today. This is the Les Ollila story. -- Back cover.
