The World from the Eye of a Child

Meet Nitya, a seven year old girl with a big dream. She feels, like any other child, that her life is on a constant roller coaster. Her perfect elder sister, Neha, seemingly has everything. Neha is beautiful, has amazing friends, tops in every exam and does everything she possibly can to make Nitya's life hell. One night, Nitya makes an amazing discovery. A cat has been sneaking in her house and drinking milk. Nitya, who never got what she desired, now wanted a pet. Not any pet, but a cat, who she wanted to name Ginger. Would Nitya's parents, a little superstitious and believing that cats are bad omens, listen to her? Would they abandon all their previous apprehensions, or would Nitya be shooed away as always? Things aren't so great in school either. When Nitya not only clears the entrance exam for a quiz, but also tops it, her classmates are shocked. They accuse her of cheating and make her life, which was already a living hell, even worse. Would Nitya be able to take part in the quiz she had worked so hard for? Or would she succumb under peer pressure and give up the only chance of proving to her parents that even she has some intelligence DNA? In this turmoil would her sister, the only friend she has, support her and help her get through this rough time or rat her out to her parents and earn herself some brownie points? Would Neha, Ms. Perfect, break a few rules, which is something she has never done before, to help out her kid sister? Would Nitya be able to cope up with everything from school, friends, parents, sibling, accusations, lies, betrayals and still emerge triumphant? Would she finally take part in the quiz? Would her new feline friend be hers? Would her roller coaster finally get on track?
