With creativity, intelligence, and humor, a couple of advertising copywriters — Black millennial female, White boomer male — bridge their disparate life experiences to form a symbiotic bond that helps them appreciate advertising's power and its potential to mirror all that is good in the human race. Their lives unfold separately in alternating chapters before converging in a college classroom. Adjoined as teacher and student, they form a bond that leads them to appreciate their self-worth and the value of their chosen profession in meeting the personal, ethical, and societal challenges posed by a world in flux.
