About
Pernille Egeskov works in a unique universe, where she creates collages, setups and installations. The materials are everything from the object's trouvé, textiles with inherent meanings, organic material - such as when she uses human hair as sewing thread, and much more. Her works often appear abstract, but process topics and save on narratives that concern us all. The exhibition 'Belonging' focuses on the topic: belonging, and is a clear extension of Pernille Egeskov's work practice. Affiliation is treated in the exhibition in a broad sense; geographically, to nature, to culture, to his family, his partner, his body, his gender or his religion. Exhibition: Bornholms Kunstmuseum, Gudhjem, Denmark (08.09.-10.11.2019). Exhibition: Bornholms Kunstmuseum, Gudhjem, Denmark (08.09.-10.11.2019).
