Shark Heart is a beautiful book , encompassing the extraordinary story of Ava, who, at the age of 58, dropped dead in the doorway of her beautiful house overlooking Sunset Boulevard, and in the middle of a fast-paced, relentless life, that wasn't working for her anymore. Along the way, she met the most extraordinary people - from medical miracle workers, to other transplant recipients, to the donor families, whose loved ones gave the ultimate gift.
