The Words of Wisdom is a compilation and interpretation of ancient proverbs, parables, myths and legends, short stories and adages originating from rural Nigeria, many of them from the Isoko people of Delta State in Nigeria. The "sayings of the wise" aptly describes the essence of the book. Some of the parables or spoken words have been directly translated from indeginous languages to english hence, they still strongly maintain the integrity as when they were first spoken by their authors. The book provides a great cultural experience for everyone and also serves as a life compass for those who are willing to embrace the insight of the old.
