Our story begins in the cold North on a blustery November day in 1923. Way back in the thick woods of Maine, lived a young man named Everett and his older brothers, Amedie, Louis, and Thomas. They were loggers and grew up in the woods of Jackman, Maine, nestled alongside the Moose River.
