About
The first exhibition about Chinese Outsider Art in the Netherlands is juxtaposing works by Chinese and Dutch outsider artists. The exhibition features multiple artwork by Chinese outsider artists, as well as new pieces from the Dutch Outsider Art collection.0This international exchange is a joint project of The Dolhuys and the Chinese Federation for Disabled People with the artist Guo Haiping as curator for the Chinese artwork. Guo Haiping is the founding father of creative workshops where Chinese outsider artists are able to create their work. His creative approach is raising awareness and interest for the outsider art genre in China, giving a voice to a group of people struggling to find their place in society. 00Exhibition: Outsider Art Museum, Amsterdam, The Netherlands (24.11.2016-05.06.2017).
