The Juniper Tree

A very naughty retelling of the Grimm Brothers' classic, The Juniper Tree. Adapted from the German folktale, with erotic sexual situations added. 2500 words, short story. Long, long ago, some two thousand years or so, there lived a rich man with a good and beautiful wife. They loved each other dearly, and heartily they played in bed, but sorrowed much that they had no children. So greatly did they desire to have one, that the wife prayed for it day and night, but still they remained childless. In front of the house there was a court, in which grew a juniper tree. One winter's day the wife lay under the tree, her skirts pulled up to her waist. She had told her husband she was off to pick and peel some apples, and finding herself alone and much desirous of his company, she began at once to pleasure herself, hoping she might be discovered and duly disciplined for her malfeasance.
