Follow a Manhattan couple as they leave the bright lights and fast paced world of the Big Apple to discover unexpected adventures lurking at a different pace in their newly found country retreat inside the enclaves of historic Tuxedo Park in Upstate New York. Like the original founders who traveled 38 miles north of New York City and developed Tuxedo Park in 1885, they too find solitude and comfort inside their new country setting shortly after 9/11. Surrounded by new sounds and the otherwise silence of the country, they learn nature has its own algorithm, not so different from their hectic lives in New York City, except for one thing, as is often the case in nature and in the animal kingdom, they have to adopt you into their world. Narrated by the author and from the felines own voices and perspective, become engaged in the persistence and curiosity of one young woman as she tries to unfold the mysterious habits of one particular feline while discovering there's more to the creatures that surround her than she ever conceived possible.
