Located on the low gravity, dense atmosphere planet of Margareta, a planet which is almost completely covered with a freshwater ocean, the Fontanian Island group has known more than two hundred years of peace. Technological development has slowly reached steam age levels but with a belligerent neighbour aggressively annexing territory the race is on to develop new and better weapons to defend themselves.The story follows the fortunes and adventures of three cadet sailors of the Fontanian Airborne Navy (the Five Moon Fleet) as they make their first flights and travel over the beautiful planet discovering new and exotic islands.But as war comes ever closer they will experience capture and incarceration and their families will become ever more embroiled in the preparations and politics of the looming conflict.There is naval derring do, romance, action and adventure aplenty aboard the fantastic airborne ships which will battle in the skies of this exotic planet.
